Why we build

Why is the monkey bored?

Because we got tired of waiting. Every Bored Monkey product starts as an annoyance we ran into ourselves, kept running into, and finally fixed.

"I shot a 74. Why? No idea."

We shoot sporting clays competitively. Paper scorecards record what you hit, then get folded into a pocket and forgotten. Nobody could tell us which targets kept beating us, so we built an app that could.

We've made the mid-career jump. The usual advice says to take the entry-level job and the entry-level paycheck. We found a better path and wrote down every step so you can follow it.
